Dolphins facts

Dolphins have many species.  They have 38 species that belong to the delphinidae and the oceanic dolphins and  5 species of river dolphins.  They look very much like a eighth sized blue whale.  Dolphins eat many odd things like squid , fish and lots and lots more, plus they too live in odd places.  

What do they actcally look like?

Dolphins have a whale like blowhole but way, way smaller.   Dolphins have a dorsal fin, pectoral fin,  a slippery tail. Dolphins glide through the water with their tail real fast. They can travel up to 20-25 miles ( 32-4o kilometres ) per hour!

What do they eat?

Did you know that dolphins even ate stuff like sea lions? There are some big dolphins that even ate killer whales!  Incredible right! Dolphins ate lots of weird and wacky stuff. For instance turtles, milk….. since their mammals. Baby dolphins drink and eat milk for two and a half years.

Where do they live?

Dolphins does not like living in ice places, in fact, they don't live in ice places at all!  But they approximately live everywhere else. Some dolphins just live in cold (not ice)and some just live in the tropical.  All dolphins are different just like normal human being.   

Dolphins are playful creatures. They sometimes eat 10-22.5 kgs of fish. A lot right.  Let them live to 40-60 years! Do not kill them!
